Our Story
The Gallery on Railroad has been a part of Opelika’s story for more than 40 years. What started as a love for custom framing has grown into a destination for original artwork, heirloom pieces, and one-of-a-kind treasures.
After a fire and a year-long restoration, we’re grateful to welcome customers back into our beautifully renewed space. Our historic building, built in 1865 in the heart of Opelika’s railroad district, has seen saloons, stories, and even a few fires. Today, it stands as one of downtown’s oldest boutiques, filled with carefully curated beauty for every season of life.
Over the years, we’ve continued to expand our selection, adding unique home décor, cheeky cocktail books, specialty gifts, and artisanal finds. Custom framing remains one of our greatest joys—after all, framing is like accessorizing your art, the perfect finishing touch to make each piece feel at home.
Debbie and the team invite you to stop by, explore, and discover something special. Whether you’re searching for heirloom-worthy frames, thoughtful gifts, or treasures that make you smile, The Gallery on Railroad is your destination for artful living.
